Crysis 3 is getting multiplayer beta

 

EA games has just announced that Crysis 3 is getting a 2 week multiplayer beta. In the beta you will be able to play in the Urban Jungle map located in New York City and you can try out 2 of the 8 game modes which are Crash site and Hunter Mode. Hunter mode is a complete new addition to the Crysis multiplayer, it is based on Call of Duty’s Infected mode in which there is 1 player infected (in Crysis 3, this player has the bow) and has to try and kill the other players, once they’ve been killed they will revive as zombies and join you in the mission of eliminating all players alive.

 

The Crysis 3 beta will start on January 29th and end on February 12 and will be available on the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC (Find out if you’re PC can run Crysis 3 here). All the achievements you will get in the BETA will transfer to the end-game, this means that all you unlock in the BETA you will still have unlocked when the full game comes out. There has been no level-cap specified for the BETA.
