Microsoft starts countdown till E3

 
Today, Major Nelson (Xbox blogger and spokesman) has posted a official Count-down on his website for this year’s E3. At the time of writing this there are still 159 days left, this can only mean 1 big thing: The Xbox 720. Lots of rumors have been going around saying that the Xbox 720 will release in 2013 and the most obvious place and time to reveal this new Next-Gen console is at E3. View the countdown here:

 

The only text provided on the post is “And it’s on”. Many game developing companies have already started preparing and developing games for the Next gen consoles. Square enix has upgraded its game engine in order to start making the Final Fantasy series and the Frostbite 2 Engine is soon getting an upgrade to power Battlefield 4 also rumoured to be released on the Xbox 720. Also, Microsoft has opened a new studio that will work on the Halo franchise and many new IP’s called “Black Tusk Studios” view more info about it here.
