Red Dead Redemption 2 officially confirmed

Rockstar Games has revealed on a Q&A session that there is a Red Dead Redemption 2 coming, it is currently in development and it will release on the next-gen consoles (The playstation 4 and Xbox 720). The announcement was made when a fan asked “all i want to know if there will be a new Red Dead Redemption coming anytime soon” on which the developer replied:

We love Red Dead too – and are thrilled that so many of you loved John Marston’s tale and are excited for more epic Western action.

As we mentioned in our last set of Asked & Answereds to similar questions about the future of other game franchises like Bully and L.A. Noire, we don’t always rush to make sequels but that does not mean that we won’t get to them eventually.

Red Dead Redemption is a open world action-adventure game that takes place in 1911, the first game was released back in May 2010. Since it’s release the game has won a huge number of Awards and has gotten high review score (avg a 9.0).
